Terms of sale
The terms that apply when you buy from PartPriced.com.
Last updated:
These terms apply to every sale by [company name] (organisation number [organisation number], [company address]) — "we" — through PartPriced.com to business customers — "you". They are written for businesses; we do not sell to consumers.
1. Offers and orders
Prices and availability on the site are an invitation to order, not a binding offer. A contract is made when we confirm your order in writing (by e-mail or in your account). A quote is valid for the time it states.
2. Prices and payment
Prices are shown excluding VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT and any duties are added as the law requires. Payment terms are those stated in the order confirmation or invoice. Late payment may carry interest as the law allows.
3. Condition of goods
Much of what we sell is used or refurbished. Each item is sold in the condition described on its listing or in the quote (for example new, used, refurbished, or for parts). Photographs show the actual unit where stated; otherwise they are illustrative.
4. Delivery and risk
Delivery times are estimates. The risk in the goods passes to you when they are handed to the carrier, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Inspect the delivery on arrival and report visible damage or missing items within 5 working days.
5. Warranty and returns
Unless the listing or quote says otherwise, items described as working are covered against being dead on arrival: report a fault within 14 days of delivery and we will repair, replace or refund the item, at our choice. Items sold for parts or "as is" carry no warranty. Return goods only after we have agreed the return with you.
6. Liability
Our liability is limited to the price paid for the item concerned. We are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost production, profit or data, except where the law does not allow this to be limited.
7. Export control
Some equipment is subject to export-control rules. You are responsible for complying with them when you export or re-export goods. See our export control information.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the country where [company name] is registered, and disputes are settled by the courts there, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the version on this page when you order applies to that order.
