Export control and sanctions

PartPriced sells electronic and test equipment, some of which is subject to export control. Here is how we handle it, and what every buyer agrees to.

The rules we follow

  • EU export control rules, including the EU Dual-Use Regulation (EU) 2021/821, and Swedish national rules.
  • EU restrictive measures (sanctions), including embargoed destinations and the EU's lists of sanctioned persons and entities.
  • Where US-origin goods or technology are involved, the US Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and US sanctions (OFAC) may also apply.

What you confirm when you order

Before an order is placed, the buyer confirms that:

  • the goods will not be exported, re-exported, resold or transferred to any country or region under an embargo or sanctions that prohibit it;
  • they will not go to any person, company or organisation on a sanctions or restricted-party list;
  • they will not be used for military end use, weapons of mass destruction or their delivery systems, or any other end use the rules prohibit;
  • the buyer will pass these conditions on to anyone they resell or transfer the goods to.

Your confirmation, and the date and version of these terms, are saved with the order.

How it works

  1. You confirm the declaration at checkout. An order cannot be placed without it.
  2. Before shipping, we check the order, the destination and the parties involved.
  3. For controlled items or some destinations we may ask for an end-user statement or other documents, and an export licence may be needed before we can ship.
  4. We may delay, refuse or cancel any order where export control or sanctions rules require it. Any payment made for a cancelled order is refunded.
